Hi there, I am Yanneth

It's my passion to design and discover abilities that can only be revealed by bringing a project to life.

My journey
My creative journey began at the age of 14 when I worked as a caricaturist for a satirical newspaper. The fast pace of a weekly publication taught me to capture the essence of information like the flash of an analog camera. In those days, the Internet didn't exist, so my imagination flowed naturally through observation and memories. I credit as well my multicultural surrounding and innate intuition, which filtered through my drawings and conveyed more than words alone could.

My illustration skills laid the foundation for my professional career in branding and logo design in the years that followed. In addition, it made me aware of the audience that existed on the other side of the paper or the screen. A public that became my client, my stakeholder, and my user.
As an interface designer, today, I continue to apply skills gained through experience and my never-ending curiosity to learn new technologies and tools to provide solutions that benefit users.
My passions
As a creative professional, keeping connected is essential...and I'm not talking about WiFi. Over the years, I have developed a relationship between my body and mind through yoga, and a special bond with nature through surfing and outdoor activities. What better way to stay grounded.

Other activities
Engaging in other activities outside of my role as a designer revitalizes my creativity. Over the course of my career, I have illustrated for magazines, worked collaboratively through mixed media, and developed some textile projects that couldn't stay in my head for very long.
